Mary Francesca Rosenbauer, of Modesto, CA, formerly of Brighton, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017.
Mary was a graduate of Our Lady of the Presentation Academy and attended the University of Minnesota and the University of California, Santa Cruz. She was the 1979 candidate for Lieutenant Governor for the state of Minnesota. Mary held various management positions at numerous hotels throughout the country. She was a volunteer with the Modesto, CA Police Department.
Mary was the life partner of the late Michael Rood and the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary (Connelly) Rosenbauer. She was the sister of Donna Rosenbauer of Brighton, Lily and her husband Michael Lyons of Newton, Rita Hauser of San Diego, CA, Regina Waters of Milford and the late Kathleen and Mark Rosenbauer. Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton and Mackay Funeral Home, 465 Centre St, NEWTON CORNER, on Thursday, June 22nd from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Columbkille's Church, 321 Market St., Brighton on Friday, June 23rd, at 10:30 AM. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
